Stranger In A Strange Land

I'm sorry for not getting over here to post, but my mum died in May and have been trying to deal with all that up in Michigan whilst living here in Indiana. Now things are starting to settle down and post regularly.

I notice that at many CF there is a line which is not to be crossed and if you do cross it, you risk vituperation on a major scale. If you go too much beyond boundaries which I believe are put up by what are commonly called "breeder pleasers" because they are afraid that the childed will be upset by comments of this sort.

My question is: why do you CARE what breeders think? Why are they trolling sites for the CF? I certainly don't bother trolling Moomie boards because to be blunt, breeders are not a part of my world. My advice to breeders? Stay off our boards and you won't have to get upset.

I have found only one board beside this one where I don't have to worry that something I have said is going to have half the board coming down on my case for it. I think that our own boards are very important as places where we can safely vent among those who are of like mind. I am really glad to be here Cambion and thanks for putting this board up!

Oh yeah, I'm a Titanic buff, too (as if you couldn't tell lol). Hey Titanic buffs come in all varieties. I have been fascinated in the Titanic for many years and am writing a novel which will hopefully be published in 2012. Not a huge fan of the movie, but I definitely love that ship! I guess it;s just that even in almost a century she continues to attract.

I surely hope I'm wrog--the LAST thing LGBT people in this country need is another 4 years of Republicans, especially  McCain and Palin.

I DO NOT understand GAY Republicans. It is simply an oxymoron. The only reason these characters are Republicans is because they vote their wallet every time. Gay rights are mentioned onky to attract other gays and because the subject affects them. Not even a Log Cabin Republcan could be dumb enough to believe otherwise. At least I hope not because that would prove once and for all that these people are mental defectives and suicidal.

Do these people really think that a McCain pesidency will be anything except four more years of the crap we have suffered from BushCo.? Of course it will be! Just go check out some of the sites which discuss Palin. She is a hypocrite and a disgrace to decent Americans everywhere. She's so damned family values oriented that her 17-year old daughter  was/is/whatever an unwed mother, Now every teenager who gets knocked up can tell Mummy and Daddy, "Bristol Palin is keeping her baby! I can, too!" Yeah, Bristol supposedly got married or is going to or whatever...and the only reason is she HAS to so her kid has a father's name to put on the birth certificate.

Of those who question my CF stance. I am not going to make them happy and comfortable by uttering platitiudes when I see nonsense going on. If that makes me evil, then so be it. I do not live my life to make breeders or breeder-pleasers comfortable.  I thought that there might be a place where peple could be honest about their feelings about the BS they encounter. I see others have been treated in a similarly shabby way for not acting the way the CF watchdogs (dingoes?) feel that they ought to behave. Well f***k that! When I am finally able to get one set up I will have a board where those of us who are hardcore and don't care about politcal correctness can air our views without worrying about the dingoes.

 I noticed that there are Childfree boards here. Thank the Goddess. Not everyone needs or wants to have children. In fact in this day and age, I believe that it is selfish to bring more people into the world. You want kids? Adopt. There are lots of kids who need a good home and can certainly brightens one's life.

I look forward to checking out CF Hardcore...hopefully it will be a more congenial group than the last CF board I posted on.
